I. JORDAN
A purveyor of high energy, high emotion electronic music, I. JORDAN channels over a decades worth of DJing and promoting into their craft. Starting their foray into label curation and production with the New Atlantis compilation back in 2017 with Deadboy aka Al Wottoon, their monthly socials at Rye Wax focused around ambient leaning sounds.
Over the last few years they’ve hit career defining milestones. Winning the Mini Mix of the Year at the BBC Radio 1 Dance Awards, their first Essential Mix and hosting a four part BBC1 residency, which spotlighted the wealth of talent within Trans+ communities, a residency at Warehouse Project and the ‘Best Breakthrough Producer’ at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards and Pete Tong’s ‘Breakout Star of the Year’.
Their releases ‘DNT STP MY LV’ and ‘For You’ on Local Action was featured on nearly every end of year list and the follow up releases ‘Watch Out!’, ‘Hey Baby / I Had The Best Times’, ‘Give it 2 Me / Reclaimed’ on Ninja Tune plus a release with Fred Again, ‘Admit It (U Don’t Want 2), sedimented their position of a club focused, hands in the air, peak time banger producer. As they enter 2023, it’s clear why they’re currently one of the most exciting producers and DJs of late.
Join us at Corsica we’re they’ll be sharing the tips & tricks and insights in their creative process.
For those new to CDR, the Session includes an in-depth, production focused interview where we'll go deep on their career and creative process. Then, after the interview, there will be a chance for any aspiring producers in the audience to have their work in progress tracks played on the club soundsystem.
Our events are for all music lovers, producers and non-producers alike. Anyone with an interest in music is welcome! For the producers attending, we run OpenCDR towards the end of each event where you can listen to your WIPs and receive feedback from the artist.

Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
