We're excited to announce the return of Music Producer Club Online, a free, 10-week online music production programme for young people aged 12–18.
Designed for beginners and early-stage producers, MPC Online helps young people learn how to make their own beats and tracks from home using Ableton, one of the music industry’s most widely used tools.
By the end of the programme, participants will have completed their own original track.
What’s Included
- Pre-recorded Ableton tutorials by professional producer, DJ, and composer Yaw Evans
- Weekly live online sessions with producer and artist Josh Bravo
- Weekly activities to support progress
- A moderated online community to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with other young producers
Key Details
- Free to attend (limited places available)
- Sundays, 1–2:30pm
- 15 Feb – 19 April (10 sessions total)
- A laptop is required; a limited number of Ableton licenses can be loaned
- Attendance is essential — missing more than two sessions may result in being withdrawn
If you’re a young person interested in music production, or a parent looking for a structured, creative online programme, we’d love to hear from you.

Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
