Conducta
An essential name in UKG, Conducta has been responsible for chart topping anthems as well as underground hits through his label Kiwi Rekords and the infamous club nights under the name Club Kiwi. Starting his career in Bristol and then moving to London where he wrote Ladbroke Grove featuring rapper AJ Tracey, the release scored him a No. 3 in the UK Charts, since then his career has been unstoppable.
Winning Best Breakthrough Label and Best Remix at DJ Mag’s Best Of British Awards in 2019 and evidenced through his DJ sets and mixes for notable platforms such as Resident Advisor, Mixmag and Boiler Room, his repertoire of British dance music can be felt throughout.
Pioneering NUKG (new school UK Garage), his tracks have been featured of mega compilations Future Sound of Garage 2 back in 2015 to collaborating with Murlo on “Together” for Coil Records, and anthem “Vitamin C” on his own imprint, his sound goes beyond traditional UKG with elements of soulful house, bassline and garage.
We’re thrilled to be welcoming him to South East London’s Corsica Studios for a deep dive into the Prince of UK Garage’s creative process.
For those new to CDR, the Session includes an in-depth, production focused interview where we'll go deep on his career and creative process. Then, after the interview, there will be a chance for any aspiring producers in the audience to have their work in progress tracks played on the club soundsystem.
Our events are for all music lovers, producers and non-producers alike. Anyone with an interest in music is welcome! For the producers attending, we run OpenCDR towards the end of each event where you can listen to your WIPs and receive feedback from the artist.

Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
