Ahead of Bok Bok's artist talk at Corsica, we share our 5 favourite tracks

Bok Bok joins us for our next artist talk at Corsica on 10th October

A household name in underground club music, London’s Bok Bok heads up seminal and quietly influential label Night Slugs with L-Vis 1990 aka Dance System, who have graced us with renowned producers from the U.K. and across the pond, including Jam City, Lektor Scopes and Sweyn J.

As a DJ, producer, remixer, Bok Bok has a plethora of releases ranging from grime to club to more atmospheric RnB, with “Melba’s Call” featuring Kelela hailed as one of the best tracks of 2014. Their productions have featured on Sound Pellegrino, Night Voyage, Dress To Sweat and of course, Night Slugs.

Ahead of their artist talk at Corsica, we share our 5 favourite tracks from the club music mainstay.

From his Southside EP, the tenth release on Night Slugs, Silo Pass is one of the most iconic tracks of the post-dubstep era. Instantly recognisable, it needs no further introduction.

Another legendary track, Da Foxtrot, featured on Bok Bok’s Your Charizmatic Self EP. Certified to get you in your feelings, it’s simultaneous nod to the past and future, showcases Bok Bok’s far reaching production skills and in depth music knowledge.

Bok Bok’s productions and influence can be heard across the underground dance music scenes from here in the U.K. to all the way across the atlantic. They produced the beautiful track A Lie for Kelela.

Under their new alias, One Bok, and imprint Ap Life, fka Bok Bok treads new sonic territory with Zodiac Beats Volume 1 & 2, a more UK Drill, grime, 140 focused output.

For the final entry in our list, Island Hopping. A classic wifey riddim.

And for a special treat, watch their HÖR set to witness them effortlessly blend together sounds from across the bass spectrum.

Join us at Corsica on October 10th to hear Bok Bok break down their game changing productions.
