Hillarynx Video Fundraiser

CDR regular and talented jazz-soul artist Hillarynx needs our collective help to fund the music video to her latest single ‘The 3rd’.

With a team ready to go, we know Hillarynx will conjure something special.

“For me, music is a spiritual thread that ties communities together. Growing up in the church, gospel music was very much my introduction to being a singer, and today, the London jazz scene has been an important space for me to experiment and play. I have not been formally educated in music, due to barriers around class, race and neurodivergence and am pursuing my artistry in my own way, #punk. 2024 was tough,I lost my aunt to domestic violence and had to deal with so much grief as well as an ongoing court case.

As an unsigned, working-class artist, financing your career is challenging. Unfortunately, like many artists, my latest single doesn’t make money. I’ve been blessed to have friends and fans support my latest single The 3rd via Bandcamp. A third of the sales have gone to Sistah space and have helped to cover the cost of making and performing my music with my band (which many times puts me out of pocket).”

You can donate to the crowdfunder here.
